Living Quarter Structures Aluminium’s enormous formability offers great design freedom for the offshore living quarters, without any compromise on safety standards. With the 50% weight reduction aluminium produces, larger parts of the living quarters can be constructed, assembled, tested and outfitted onshore. This larger, but lighter volume can simply be lifted on the structure with the existing cranes. With this the expensive hook-up-work offshore is significantly reduced. Weight reduction of the living quarters also means that the substructure (jacket) can be constructed lighter, which directly leads to lower costs.
The aluminium living quarters are resistant to the salty environment. They don’t rust. Maintenance is not required. This way the non-producing-module contributes to a reduction in maintenance costs and thus increases your profit.

Helidecks (Bayards is fully aware of the applicable international laws, regulations and standards, such as CAP 437, ICAO annex 14, NMD 072, NORSOK C004. Bayards design is approved by DNV, V, ABS, LRS en RMRS)
Bayards designs, engineers, fabricates and installs helidecks for any type of vessel and platform. A helideck assembly kit can be delivered to the client’s yard anywhere in the world and thereafter assembled by a local workforce under Bayards’ supervision. Alternatively, we can assemble the helideck at Bayards’ production facilities and deliver it turn-key. Bayards’ designs are approved by DNV, BV, ABS and LRS and the helidecks are compliant with international standards, such as CAP 437, ICAO, NMD, NORMAM 27 and NORSOK.- Fire Fighting Equipment (Bayards offers Deck Integrated Fire Fighting-systems (DIFF) with monitors, but also manual extinguishing systems, with fire extinguishing monitors. For this Bayards designs and produces the complete package of valves, pipes, foam etc)
- Lighting (Helideck illumination with complete cabling, which complies with all specific legally required components)
- Heat Tracing (Also in arctic conditions, the helidecks of Bayards are permanently operational. The surface is kept free of snow and ice due to the integrated electric heat tracing cable at the underside of the deck)
- Maintenance Free Safety Netting (Bayards offers maintenance free aluminium (or stainless steel) safety netting).
